Books I recommend reading

Recently, I gave some advice on reading suggestions on Facebook. I have read my fair share of books between being an English teacher and reading for enjoyment. I was thinking what my list of favorite books of all-time are.

Some of these books could belong to more than one category, but I picked them to belong to the category that I felt they most likely belonged. I don't have any romance novels in here, as I really don't read much from that genre. I also didn't include short stories, poetry, novellas, etc. as I simply stuck to novels.

Below is that list, in no particular order. I highlighted my favorite book in each category that I consider my absolute favorite (not easy to do). But if you are looking for something to read, I would recommend anything on this list.
